The week brought me back to the McLane Nature Trail in Olympia, WA on a church nature outing. This is a beautiful location and has an easy 1.1 mile walk that is pretty well-marked and great for bringing kids. I’ve come down and taken photos several times over this past year and it is great to see the changes taking place as the seasons change. Our group had several young kids and seeing their fascination in their focused world is a lot of fun.
The week also took me down to Washougal, WA to my 25 year high school anti-reunion reunion. Our 25 year reunion is coming up fast, but I didn’t really want to attend it, so I sent messages out to my circle of friends to see if they were going to attend. No one wanted to go, but another member suggested we have our own get together…thus, the anti-reunion reunion. We had a great time and enjoyed the farm owned by the family of one of our group. These last images are from the river bank near where they host weddings. It really is a beautiful place.
