This week was a single day’s worth of shooting. The day started out in Troutdale, OR at the McMenamins Edgefield for my cousin Tiffany’s wedding. My mother joined me for the trip and day of photography.

After the wedding, we went to enjoy the beauty of the Portland Japanese Garden. I purchased a membership to the garden and added on the photographer benefits addendum. This gives me some additional bonuses, including extended hours. Of course, this first visit on the membership was during the peak of the afternoon, which makes for very difficult lighting conditions. I know I keep mentioning that, and…I keep going out in it. I need to make a change to capture the best light and take things up a notch.

Good reminder of a great place to visit!
